Awesome Artwork with Scrap Wood

The award-winning artist from Sao Paolo first shapes his massive creations with PVC, and then carefully wraps them with layers of plywood. What eventually looks like a smooth flow of color and texture is actually tough work: “It was a struggle between my wish and the resistance of a non-easily manageable material.” The size of his works is also dictated by his medium: “The materials I use are made for construction use and thus in a way I have to go large,” explains Henrique.
