Body Painting Illusion Turns Humans Into Animals

Human Turn into Animal with Body Paint Artwork

While at first glance you think you’re seeing ordinary paintings of animals on canvas, look a little closer and you’ll notice that the canvases are actually naked human beings. Shannon Holt is a body painter based in Florida who has the incredible ability to transform the human body into a canvas for art. In the Florida Wildlife Series she’s taken animals like a blue heron, a red fox and a Florida alligator (with its baby) and carefully painted them onto complete bodies of human beings.
Body Painting Female art lets a woman decorate her beautiful body in wonderful ways. What with a woman’s curves and her natural grace, her body can be the ideal canvas to express her creative self. Be it her wild side with animal motifs, or her delicate and sensuous side with flowers or butterflies, body painting can express a lot of ideas.

Whether it is one color or several, a simple graphic pattern or a complex design with shades, the body as the canvas brings many exciting possibilities. A woman’s shapely back can be the canvas for intricate designs or interesting skull shapes. Her expressive eyes can have patterns of butterflies painted around, or wild cat stripes, or simply be touched with delicate pink shadows. The side of her body can be where a flower in pastel shades gets painted. Her hands can come alive with bold shades of blue, or have black patterns to match her tiger face painting design. With the colors of the rainbow and a wide series of designs covering animals, abstract art, and nature, the chances of experimenting are endless.
